Taste Mango On Android And iOS Phones

Windows Phone 7, no doubt is a very interesting operating system. Though it has had kind of a rough start, Microsoft is pushing to makes things better for the platform. The Mango update brings forth a couple of new things to the table, which makes WP7 a very neat little operating system. Thanks to the continued support from manufacturers (HTC, Samsung and more recently Nokia) things look very bright for the platform. Now, users from the Android or iOS camp can try out Windows Phone 7.5 on their device. Well, we're not talking about porting the entire OS to your smartphone, but merely getting a feel of the platform.

Users have to log on to http://aka.ms/wpdemo from their Android or iOS device to get a step-by-step tour of the Windows Phone 7.5 platform. This basically is a Windows Phone 7.5 demo for rookies covering most aspects of the platform such as messaging and everything else. The webpage is based on HTML5, so as to be compatible with iOS devices as well. It's good to see MS provide this neat little Windows Phone introduction to Android and iOS users. Well, the whole idea is to bring some folks from the other side of the river to MS' camp. I'm not sure if MS will be successful with that, but we have got to give it credit for the effort at least. Speaking about the webpage, it's very neatly designed and is very intuitive. Check it out on your device.
