What is nimbuzz

Use This Service To Call: Internationally.

Nimbuzz is a call and messaging app that give free calls and messaging between Nimbuzz users, and the app works on most mobile platforms – iPhone, Android etc, and that includes the Blackberry. You can also make very cheap calls to landlines and non-Nimbuzz mobile users using NimbuzzOut.
The Nimbuzz mobile app uses the internet and works between any internet enabled device – mobile to mobile or between mobile and computer. It’s PC and Mac compatible. It uses Wi-Fi, 3G, 2G and GPRS. Basically, it works on anything that has an internet connection.

How does Nimbuzz work?

Nimbuzz uses a live contact list to show you which of your friends and contacts is online. From this contact list you can initiate free and cheap phone calls, free messages, send images and it also includes location bases services.
The Nimbuzz app ties in with Facebook®, Windows Live Messenger (MSN), Google Talk ™, Twitter, Yahoo!™, ICQ, AIM®, MySpace, Hyves and others. Which means that you can access all these accounts with one log-in. If you allow Nimbuzz to connect to your social networking sites, you can chat online to friends, on Facebook for example, directly from your Nimbuzz app wherever you are.

Can you really make free mobile calls?

The app is free to download and free to use. Nimbuzz does not charge you anything to call or message other Nimbuzz users. If you use wi-fi then it remains free, but if you’re using your mobile connection you will be charged for data transfer, however, this is usually much cheaper than making a mobile phone call with your mobile provider. Be careful though, if you go overseas you will pay for roaming unless you use wi-fi.
If you have a certain amount of data included in your mobile contract then you won’t pay for Nimbuzz calls or connectivity until you have used up your free data allowance. Nimbuzz recommend that you have a flat rate unlimited data plan from your mobile provider.
If you are spending a lot on mobile calls, especially long distance and international calls, as well as text messages then having an unlimited data plan and using Nimbuzz for calls and messaging will probably save you a lot of money. The more family and friends that you have on Nimbuzz the more free calls you can make.
Other features include: group chat, conference calls, file sending.

Download and install Nimbuzz

Go to the Nimbuzz website, with a computer or with your mobile, to download the app. Or, for iPhones and the iPod Touch, you can download it from the itunes app store.

Cheap Phone Calls to Landlines with NimbuzzOut

NimbuzzOut is part of the Nimbuzz app and lets you make very cheap calls to landline phones and regular mobile phones (people who aren’t Nimbuzz users).
You need to add credit to use NimbuzzOut, and you can do that easily using the app and paying by credit or debit card, Paypal and several other payment methods. The minimum credit is €10 or $10. You can view rates online or from the app itself. As an example, standard rates to the US are $0.107 per minute and $0.020 to India (at the time of writing).
If you already have an account with a SIP provider, and it’s a provider that Nimbuzz support, you can add this account to the Nimbuzz app and use that SIP provider to make cheap phone calls rather than NimbuzzOut. Once you’re installed the Nimbuzz app, go to Settings > Voip Provider > SIP.
